Thực trạng tương tự đối với câu hỏi hiểu biết của doanh nghiệp về đổi mới sáng tạo mở. Chỉ 1,31% doanh nghiệp được hỏi là hoàn toàn không hiểu biết gì về đổi mới sáng tạo mở và 16,34% trả lời chỉ hiểu biết ít. Có thể thấy, khái niệm này đã trở nên phổ biến trong cộng đồng khởi nghiệp.

Tuy nhiên, tỷ lệ các doanh nghiệp hiểu biết rõ về hai khái niệm trên đều không nhiều. Với khởi nghiệp đổi mới sáng tạo, chỉ 23,53% doanh nghiệp nhận định họ hiểu biết thực sự rõ, trong khi đó tỷ lệ hiểu biết rõ với đổi mới sáng tạo mở chỉ chiếm 15,03%. Hiểu rõ tầm quan trọng để ứng dụng thực tiễn Khởi nghiệp đổi mới sáng tạo là quá trình sáng tạo và triển khai các ý tưởng mới, sản phẩm hoặc dịch vụ có tính đột phá, thường được tạo ra bởi các doanh nhân và nhóm nhỏ có tinh thần sáng tạo. Đây là quá trình bao gồm việc áp dụng cách tiếp cận độc đáo, khác biệt và có tính đột phá trong giải quyết các vấn đề hiện tại hoặc tạo ra giải pháp mới cho thị trường. Khởi nghiệp đổi mới sáng tạo thường liên quan chặt chẽ đến việc tạo ra giá trị mới, sáng tạo, hoặc cải tiến sản phẩm/dịch vụ để đáp ứng nhu cầu chưa được đáp ứng trên thị trường. Đổi mới sáng tạo mở là việc tận dụng tối đa các nguồn lực, thông tin và ý tưởng có sẵn thông qua sự hợp tác, chia sẻ và sự mở cửa thông tin. Đây là một triết lý hoạt động mà không bị ràng buộc bởi ranh giới hoặc giới hạn, khuyến khích mọi người tham gia vào quá trình sáng tạo và đổi mới. Đổi mới sáng tạo mở tạo điều kiện thuận lợi cho việc chia sẻ thông tin, kiến thức, và ý tưởng giữa các cá nhân, tổ chức và cộng đồng. Nó không chỉ tạo ra một môi trường linh hoạt để học hỏi và phát triển, mà còn khuyến khích sự đóng góp và giao lưu ý tưởng, từ đó tạo ra một nguồn lực sáng tạo mạnh mẽ và tiềm năng phát triển. Tính đến hiện nay, việc thúc đẩy đổi mới và sáng tạo mở đã trở thành một cơ hội và thách thức đối với hệ sinh thái khởi nghiệp Việt Nam. Không chỉ là việc mở cửa thông tin, mà còn là việc xây dựng cơ sở hạ tầng cho việc chia sẻ và hợp tác, cũng như tạo ra môi trường linh hoạt để thử nghiệm ý tưởng. Sự đổi mới và sáng tạo mở không chỉ tạo ra cơ hội cho việc mở rộng kinh doanh và tạo ra sản phẩm dịch vụ mới, mà còn tạo ra sự cạnh tranh bền vững cho các startups. Việc chia sẻ thông tin và hợp tác có thể giúp họ tránh được những sai lầm và tận dụng cơ hội phát triển. Viễn cảnh trong tương lai Đổi mới và sáng tạo mở đang trở thành yếu tố quyết định nâng cao năng lực cạnh tranh của hệ sinh thái khởi nghiệp Việt Nam.
